This series of works on wind-swept textured canvas was created in honor of my desert home here in the Southwest USA. The metallic paints make these creations shine and shimmer. The colors shift as you move by them. This is very symbolic of the dynamic shifts that occur in the desert ecosystem. Flash floods, extreme temperatures, and some fierce flora are the subjects of these abstracted landscapes. Some of these pieces are still available and a few are available as prints.
