What does anger feel like? This is the question I’ve been asking myself and others as I have been working on a book and online course that helps people to express anger in safe and healing ways. The image that kept coming up again and again was the star.

Stars have a massive amount of energy inside of them. There is potential for heat, radiation, even a supernova explosion if a star continues to become more and more unstable. On the flip side of this anger (which is a manifestation of hostile energy), there is peace, balance, harmony, beauty, and life-giving warmth. This is represented as the symmetrical star, the star of sacred geometry. When the star becomes malformed and distorted, it is not in its highest vibrational state. It is under the influence of anger and the root of this anger lies in the larger realm of fear. So, when we see others enraged with anger, they are usually expressing fear. They feel threatened.

Instead of allowing other’s angry energetic vibration to trigger your own responses of fear (which leads to more violence and distorted star energy), try seeing them as fearful children. Ask them with compassion:

“What are you afraid of? How can I help you feel safe again?”

This exercise is simple and powerful. I hope you will enjoy practicing it with your own children, your co-workers, or even your neighbors.
